Tara was a very spunky 18 year old. She was a Senior in high school. She had a beautiful smile and brightened up a room when she walked into it. She worked at Hollister in the local mall which was a dream job for her. She got to wear Hollister clothes and stand around looking pretty. Her friends meant the world to her. Her favorite colors are orange and pink. She loved Chipotle and Starbucks.

My daughter had just gotten off work on Good Friday (4/6/07). She went to pick up a friend and was heading home. She was on I75 and hit some black ice at which time she lost control of her car. There was another accident on the side of the highway in the same place from the same black ice. When she lost control of her car, she hit the two State Highway Patrol cars that were aiding the other accident.

I received a call from the passenger that was in the car with Tara. He said they were in an accident and my daughter was unconsious. The paramedic got on the phone and told me they were careflighting my daughter to the hospital and the accident was very serious. She survived 6 days after the accident.
