TeensRemembered.org remembers the lives of teens that have lost their lives in vehicle crashes and provides the victim’s family and friends an opportunity to prevent other families from experiencing the unspeakable pain they have suffered.
A program of the National Teen Research Center and the Joshua Brown Foundation, the TeensRemembered.org website and organization offers an opportunity for parents, friends and family to continue the work of protecting teens through research and education. The goals are to:
- Promote technologically advanced driver education
- Encourage parental behind-the wheel experience
- Support educational safe teen driving programs
- Develop driving safety public policy
- Produce an “e-yearbook” for victims
The Parent Advisory Board provides opportunities for leadership in public policy, research, education, and program development. The board also organizes and oversees the Teen Advisory Board that is utilized for peer review and input.
The TeensRemembered.org Parent Advisory Board will also conduct an annual conference addressing teen safety public policy, research, and improved driver education opportunities for all teens.
