Lindsay was the light of our lives. We had no idea how empty our lives were until she came to us. I remember the first time she was placed in my arms I thought, “Look how beautiful she is! Can anyone be this perfect?” Our hearts were lifted to a much better place.

She was such an energetic, friendly little girl. Lindsay never met a stranger and no matter where we went, she always came home knowing a new friend.

She has touched so many lives in 16 short years. There was gymnastics at GGC and CCGA. She was an awesome gymnast and we were so proud of her. The trips we took to meets all over the country were very special to us both. Then came tennis and cheering. She scared everyone to death with her asthma attacks! Then there was diving at Grayson High School. What a beautiful sight.

In elementary school, Lindsay was the kind of child every teacher wanted in their class, incredibly intelligent, helpful and very social! By middle school and high school, her focus changed, as most teen’s will to friend and fun. She lost a little edge to be the best in school, but she gained a wealth of friendships, lifelong friend that she would have done anything for and they would have done anything for her. You are all here lifting the wonderful person she was in celebration.

I really feel the need to say something to the teens here. Please love each other and yourselves. Don’t take unnecessary chances in life; you never know when that horrible accident may happen. And be careful in your cars! Driving cannot be taken lightly. We cannot go through anymore losses due to automobile accidents. If Susan, Mallory and Lindsay meant anything to you guys at all, please be careful!

To Lindsay: Dad, Garrett, Taylor and I are in so much pain! We love you so very much and ache to see and hug you again! Our faith tells us we will see you again and we look forward to that day! We praise God and thank him for allowing you to be a part of our lives and giving us this precious time with you before he called you home. Lindsay, you are our sweetest angel!
