Heather was out on a double date with friends.  Both girls had cerfews and they were running late. 

The driver was in a hurry to get the girls home ontime to avoid them getting in trouble.  The driver lost control in a curve and the vehicle over turned.  Heather who did not have her seat belt on was ejected out th T Tops of the car. 

Parent discuss with your teens and teens discuss with your parent the WHAT IF'S.  What if your going to be late.  Call home ahead of time and let your parent know you are going to be late, you are on your way home and that you are OK 15 or 20 minutes ahead of time.  That way you will not have to hurry home and take a chance of getting into an accident and your parent won't be worring about you wondering what has happened and why you havn't called.  It dosen't take a lot of effort and can save a lot of heartake.
