When you become a parent your life revolves around keeping your child happy, and safe. Before you know it, your child receives his driving permit and you try to give him the one thing that will help the most .... experience. Sadly though, you can't give some one experience, that they must acquire for themselves. The police tell us that Brad was going at least 60 mph in a 45 zone. He came around a curve and lost control, hitting a utility pole. In less than five seconds so many people's lives have been changed forever. Brad was sweet, thoughtful and kind ... he could talk to anyone. Once you
meet him, you knew you had another great friend.
Brad played soccer for nine years at GSA and Berkmar. He wrestled for Berkmar in the 9th and 10th grade. He finally just recently decided to become a firefighter. Brad was about to begin classes at Gwinnett Tech in January but he never got a chance. The accident happened just after midnight ... did an animal dart in front of his car? ... was he reaching for a cell phone? ... the radio? We will never know for sure what happened. We do know how very much he will always be missed ... by his parents, sister, brothers, aunts, uncles, grandparents and his many, many friends.
