This memorial website was created in the memory of our loved one, Jonathan Blake Jolly, BJ to his friends and Blake or “Blaker” to his family. BJ was born on June 04, 1985 and passed away on May 23, 2005 at the age of 19.

BJ was a courageous, stubborn, determined, yet sweet and kind young man. He had such a big heart. A friend of his once said, "BJ has a heart the size of Texas." No matter what was going on in his life he always had time for his friends. Whether it be a shoulder to cry on or just someone to sit and listen. BJ had anincredible gift, in his short life he was able to touch every heart he left behind.

He was and still is loved by all who knew him and he is missed more than words can say.

I think everyone who knew BJ would say that he had an incredible way of touching peoples' hearts. He was always there for anyone who reached out. He always had a shoulder to cry on and was always concerned with everyone else’s well-being before his own.

When the gang would sleep over at his house everyone always had a blanket, a pillow, and even a bed before he did. I would wake up some nights and he would be on the floor curled up with his sweatshirt. I'd ask why he didn't have a bed or covers and he'd reply "because you didn't have one so I gave you mine." This is how BJ treated everyone. He showered everyone around him with so much love and care.

BJ left behind a little piece of himself in each of our hearts. He taught us all how to love with a heart of gold. For this, he will be remembered forever.
